As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Collections Representative.

Position Overview:

As a Collections Representative at DBS Building Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable, maintaining positive relationships with clients, and implementing effective strategies to recover overdue payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Monitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Communication: Initiate contact with customers to discuss overdue payments, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and account status.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and collections performance to management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to address customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements in all collection activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or a related financial role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and persuade.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues related to accounts receivable.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

A high school diploma is required, and additional education in finance or a related field is preferred.
